A Chromosaturation in Paris

February 17 - May 26, 2012
A Chromosaturation in Paris

La Maison Rouge, Fondation Antoine de Galbert
Paris, France

For the first time in several years, a Chromosaturation by Carlos Cruz-Diez will be displayed in Paris, as a part of the exhibition Neon: Who’s afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue in La Maison Rouge – Fondation Antoine de Galbert.

The public will have the opportunity to (re)discover this artificial environment, consisting of three chambers—one red, one green, and one blue—that immerse the visitor in a total monochromatic situation.

Curated by David Rosenberg, the exhibition features more than one hundred historic unseen works and will present the dialogue between artists who, since the 50’s, have developed their researches and plastic experimentations using neon lights as an artistic medium.
