Chromointerférence

When Chromatic Event Modules are superimposed on the plane, they create a field of color that varies according to the distance of the viewer from the work. When a number of mobile modules are superimposed on the plane, a second transformation can be perceived that reveals a range of colors that are quite different from those that are on the plane.

The wavelike movements, which are different from the actual motion of the modules, produce a greater brightness than those colors possess on their own. This phenomenon gives a sense of volume to what was originally two-dimensional.
